IM’ing people threads on chat boards
For me, if I post a thread and IM someone, it’s because I want them to get the info. But lately I’ve noticed others think of it differently. To others, they view it as, “here’s my thread, come give it a bump”.
I’m not a board whore!
Now I feel weird about sending icq’s to my friends when I have news I’m posting. As a marketer, it’s a means of getting the word out there. Don’t get me wrong though, I hardly ever post threads. When the Players Ball comes around, I make announcements so my peeps know what time it is.
